Acknowledgment of Country
Stand Out Basketball acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we train, play, and connect across Victoria. We recognise the deep cultural ties and enduring connection that Victorian Aboriginal peoples have to Country, and we pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
We also extend our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from other regions who visit or participate in our programs.
Stand Out Basketball further acknowledges the diverse contributions of migrants who have made Australia home – each adding to the rich cultural fabric of our communities and the game we love.
